Twitter Direct Message Feature Missing from Android and iOS User Profile Pages

Twitter has recently rolled out its latest update for Android and iOS users, but many have reported that the option to send direct messages (DMs) has disappeared from their profile page. The “DM” button usually appears between the Follow and Notification buttons on a profile page, but it is no longer present for multiple users. This has caused confusion and concern as it is one of the most popular features on the microblogging site.

Twitter has not yet released an official statement regarding why the DM button has disappeared from user profile pages. Some users speculate that it’s due to a bug in the latest update, while others think it may be part of a larger, planned update.

The good news is that users can still send direct messages by heading to the Messages tab and searching for the account they want to send a direct message. Many users have reported that this is a reliable workaround for the issue.

However, the disappearance of the DM button from user profile pages has caused some confusion, as many users are unaware of the workaround. As a result, Twitter has been flooded with complaints and queries from users who can’t find the direct message option.

It remains unclear why the DM button has disappeared from user profile pages on Twitter, but users can still send direct messages by heading to the Messages tab and searching for the account they want to send a message. Twitter has yet to release an official statement regarding the issue, but hopefully, it will address the concerns of its users soon.
