The Wolf Among Us 2 Receives New Screenshots

Over a year ago, The Wolf Among Us 2's release was postponed to 2024 due to a major shift in its development operation, moving to the Unreal Engine 5. Notably, even though we are halfway into the year, this anticipated adventure sequel's release is still indeterminate. The most recent trailer was released more than two years ago, and despite the long wait, Telltale has not provided substantial updates about the game, barring a recent teaser. 

Telltale Games, however, celebrated its founding anniversary by releasing two new screenshots of The Wolf Among Us 2 on Twitter. The screenshots depict the lead character, Bigby Wolf, in various environments. Unfortunately, further details about the game remain sparse, with no clue as to when additional information or a new trailer might be released.

Last October, Telltale Games revealed a significant reduction in its workforce due to prevailing market conditions. This setback unraveled shortly after reaffirming that The Wolf Among Us 2 was still progressing. Media reports later suggested that most of the game's developers had to exit due to these layoffs.

In terms of roll-out, the game is currently being developed for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
